Brickton Obren
Occupation: Fisherman
Age: 24
Brick is the last remaning member in the Obren bloodline. His ancestor, Scarletta Obren, managed to best Aeren in combat. All who have followed Scarletta had taken the path of being a great soldier for Faragon. After the untimely death of his sister, Rubi, Brick felt that enlisting may not be a good option. Instead, he opted to take up the trade of fishing and has been quite content. Unfortunately, the past tends to fine ways of creeping back up.
Odessa (no last name given)
Occupation: Aeren's director of HR and PR
Age: 35
Odessa is of the Therdie race which is a hybrid of a Therran and one of the many Fey races. However, she is the last of her village after it was attacked by another Fey race. The only reason she lives is because Aeren had saved her as a child. Odessa has since lived at Ice Fort and is now in charge of recruiting new troops and maintaining public relations between Aeren and neighboring nations such as Fargon. She has a rather harsh personality and tends to swear alot, but a softer side does exist within her.
Vilia of the Eva Valley Clan
Occupation: Commander and royal guard
Age: 32
Vilia is one of the highest-ranking female officers in the Faragonian military, yet is far from the most respected. Those under her command trust her word, but those who aren't are wary of her odd habits such as drinking excessive amounts of tea and originally hailing from the Desert Continent. Vilia has always felt that she is cursed, and is defensive about everything.
Serra Ferrin
Occupation: Head Water Artisan
Age: 29
Serra is quite possibly the only believer in Heidris who does not live in the ocean. Fortunately for her, this connection has allowed her to become the most powerful water artisan in the kingdom. Despite such a power, Serra has suffered permanent memory damage and cannot recall anything beyond the last five years of her life. Serra also has a few quirky obsessions. When in the presence of something with a wingergreen odor, she will instinctively try to eat it, even if it was something never meant to be consumed. She will also act strange when in contact with an object that she deems "snuggly." This includes but is not limited to blankets, plushies, and Isis. She's close friends with Vilia, and while Serra's flaky personality may clash with Vilia's seriousness, the two get along rather well.
Janlyn Moss
Occupation: Fanservicer/Freelancer
Age: 25
Janlyn has an important task in Faragon. It is her duty to go to people's houses and fan them provided they are willing to pay. Janlyn has always had a love of dance and charges more for her fan-dance routines. Brick has felt that she is overcharging, resulting in Janlyn trying to get Brick to pay the entire bill. Janlyn's bipolar personality and unnatural strength imply that she may have made a better career choice as a bill collector. That life, however, came crashing down when a mutagenic infection she recieved as a child activated despite her being a genetic mutt. The infection left Janlyn a quasi-vespidoid creature in search of a new life. Perhaps some of her hobbies in technology and mechanics will finally prove useful.
Lydia Brown
Occupation: Flame Artisan
Age: 27
Lydia is one of many soldiers who had defected from Faragon for one reason or another. Lydia's choice was made for her when another soldier roped her into attacking Ice Fort, where she soon realized it was a suicide run. Lydia has to prove her worth to her new employer and get used to living around Isis, which is a challenge in its own right.
Albert Ian Cannivus VI
Occupation: King of Faragon
Age: 45
King Albert VI is the rather odd ruler of Faragon. Despite rather peaceful relations with Aeren through previous rulers, he's decided to ignore those relations and has now put his kingdom in grave danger. The king didn't help matters by sending small groups of soldiers into Ice Fort to try and kill Aeren as retalliation. As a result of this whole situation, most residents of Faragon feel the king is incompetent, yet they cannot speak their mind about it.
Alberta Cannivus
Occupation: Princess of Faragon
Age: 23
Alberta is the sole heir to the throne, and is liked about as much as her father. She is rumored to be half-felinoid and is always conveniently away from the castle whenever Solis visits the kingdom. She is quite demanding, and quite annoying at the same time.
Rubi Obren
Occupation: N/A
Age: Deceased
Rubi was Brick's older sister. She always looked out for her younger brother and the two got along quite well. Brick suspects Rubi's death may have been foul play, and is silently seeking answers
Timothy Chapman
Occupation: Viceroy
Age: 56
Viceroy Chapman is quite possibly the most loveable town leader in Faragon. He rarely dresses the part of his occupation, and truly looks out for his towns people. He's a bit of that old pervert type, but is quite supportive of other's relationships.
Fillyn of the Eva Valley Clan
Occupation: Clan Heir
Age: 29
Vilia's younger sister. When Vilia abandoned her position as Clan Heir, Fillyn as the next oldest took over. Fillyn was always jealous of her older sister and rumors have circulated that all the misfortunes that fell upon Vilia were at Fillyn's hands. She denies the allegations even though deep down she knows they are true and even regrets it.
Torlon of the Eva Valley Clan
Occupation: Clan Heir
Age: 27
Vilia's younger brother. Torlon is considered the strong, silient type. Whether or not it's because Fillyn never shuts up is debatable. Of the three, Torlon is the most sympathetic towards Vilia and her situation. He aims to spend as much time as he can with both of his sisters before he marries into another clan (and usurps his future wife's position. A common occurence in inter-clan marriages.)
Althena Lynn Dribreze
Occupation: Goddess of Order
Age: 7000+
Althena (ALL-then-ah) is the third-oldest of all the divine beings and current ruling god of Ther'ran. Due to some personal events in her past, Althena had both developed a strong sense of justice and severely dulled her emotions. Thus, her beautiful feathered wings are overpowered by her cold, almost lifeless stare. Althena is also known as the divine shield because in a duel without artisan abilities, Althena will never be touched. Aeren had somehow managed to beat Althena once, but the both of them always call it "a fluke." Althena's symbol is a circle with eight evenly divided sections to represent order in the whole.
Aerenerea Elena Dribreze
Occupation: Goddess of Death
Age: 2800 +
Aerenerea, or "Aeren" as she prefers to be called, is the divine being in charge of ensuring that the souls of the beings on Ther'ran leave the physical housing they are held in after a set period of time. In layman's terms, making sure stuff dies. Unlike the stereotypical Death God one may find in other worlds, Aeren has no intention of ending all life on Ther'ran as that would make her role meaningless, nor does she favor the undead as it is viewed as a form of cheating Death (and Aeren hates being cheated). This view is further magnified by her love of the biological sciences. As a result, Aeren is quite friendly and motherly, yet the most deadly entity on the world. Her symbol is in the shape of a soul.
Isis Sirenne Dribreze
Occupation: Goddess of Illusion
Age: 350
Isis is Aeren's carefree, yet slightly insane, vertically-challenged daughter who looks aims to improve the world's imagination as a gateway to bigger and better ideas. Unfortunately, most will view her actions as childish or outright disturbing (such as whenever she creates "happy" illusions). Isis is rarely seen walking without a smile, but seems to be hiding secrets at the same time. Those who can get past her crazy antics and how she's rarely phased by anything gain a true friend. Her symbol is in the shape of two rotationally symmetric fireballs which represent reality and illusion.
Solis Ceil Charrone
Occupation: Goddess of Destruction
Age: 2800+
As the Goddess of Destruction, Solis has much joy in destroying or exploding just about anything. Despite her destructive and agressive nature Solis is rather warm and friendly to those she favors, which makes her quite easy to work with. Quite useful when running one of the worlds largest military forces. Despite this friendliness, Solis does hold some ill feelings towards her father and, to a lesser extent, her uncle due to an incident involving her mother as a child. However, this grudge does not extend to her cousins, Luna and Therra. Solis's lineage includes that of the Dacor household, characterized by her teardrop-shaped pupils and another less-obvious physical features. Unlike others in the Dacor household, she lacks the characteristic "headfin" but has fleshy strands of hair that emit clean burning gasses instead. It is usually joked that her hair burnt off her headfin. Her symbol is a fireball splitting an object in two, though it also resembles a lotus flower.
Heidris Crystal Coralnos
Occupation: Goddess of Creation
Age: 6000+
Heidris is the only deity that was not birthed by a true divine being. While many believe that this makes her the "easy-going" or "soft" goddess, Heidris is actually quite competent. She has kept the seas safe and bountiful for those above and below the water, and will occasionally come up with a useful device or material. Heidris's symbol represents Ther'ran's growth upon a solid foundation.
Therra Destiny Coralnos
Occupation: Temporal Goddess
Age: 210
Therra is the daugher of Heidris and the youngest of all the Ther'ran divinity, yet has the most important role. She controls the paths a soul takes, potentially altering the flow of Ther'ran's events. She also has a large wheel that contains the symbols of all the other divine beings. It's true purpose is still unknown. Despite the nature of her role, Therra posesses the same friendly and easy-going demeanor of her mother. Furthermore, Ther'ra is quite attractive for a four-armed, half-Aquarian and tends to dress in ways that tastefully represent that fact. Isis, for whatever reason, doesn't appear to get along well with Therra. Therra also provides insurance for mortals and sold a 1 million corva policy to a gronkle. Why she did that, we may never know, but it sure made Brick and Enstock happy. Therra's symbol is an upside-down triangle that represents a multitude of paths converging into the one that is finaly taken.
Sir Reginald Kissyface
Occupation: Bubblecap
Age: Unknown
Reginald is a bubblecap that somehow got in Brick's house when he was recovering. Reginald seems to have a fondness for monocles, tea, and "face kisses". He spends most of his time riding on Vilia's head and bonding with her.
Baron Archibald Silverberg
Occupation: Osmicap
Age: Unknown
Archibald joined the group haphazardly when Brick and the gang got caught up in a bloodcap feeding frenzy. He was competing with the bloodcaps for food when he was picked up by Janlyn. Considering that osmicaps are too heavy to be lifted by a Therran, Archibald was surprised and soon enamored with Janlyn. He now gladly allows Janlyn to use him as a near indestructible projectile. Maybe he likes being a living weapon?
Lady Ophelia deCoif
Occupation: Capthulu
Age: Unknown
Description pending
Hurrman
Occupation: Royal Bubblecap
Age: 0
Hurrman is the product of 800 bubblecaps fusing together into one large entity. It is quite friendly and is fond of Brick, Odessa, and Penny.
Penningail An'nor'ress
Occupation: Freelancer
Age: 26
Penningail, or Penny for short, is a childhood friend of Brick and Rubi. She originally looked like a Therran, but began to develop Shadie (one of the many Fey subspecies) traits around her teen years. For fear of being treated differently, she ran away and was never seen again. Recently, Brick and Penny ran into each other and it was like nothing ever happened. Durring their time apart, Penny seems to have become slightly more devious.
