To conclude this week, here is the one event that made Aeren a kinder, gentler Goddess of Death as opposed to one bent on exterminating all life. Also, this strip introduces Althena, Aeren's mother. She may not emote much and can be rather blunt at times, but as an entity of order and justice you could understand (and there's also those big honkin' wings to take into consideration). Chapter 3 starts up next week.
